Experience

Over the course of over 25 years, Yevgen Solovyov has advised major Ukrainian and international companies, business owners, and private investors on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, and corporate risk management. He combines deep expertise in corporate law, M&A, and corporate disputes with a practical understanding of commercial processes, helping clients efficiently execute M&A transactions, navigate corporate disputes, and protect business interests in complex corporate law matters.

Yevgen’s core practice focuses on corporate law and M&A, including acquisitions and disposals of companies, corporate restructuring, optimization of ownership and management models, and support of complex commercial and corporate transactions. He advises clients at all stages of a transaction – from legal due diligence and deal structuring to drafting agreements, negotiations, and closing.

Yevgen Solovyov also assists in protecting and enforcing the rights of shareholders and participants of legal entities, representing their interests in corporate conflicts and litigation. He develops comprehensive strategies to safeguard corporate control and management rights and leads projects aimed at protecting businesses from hostile corporate takeovers and raider attacks, ensuring stability and control over clients’ assets.

He advises corporate clients on company incorporation and registration of separate subdivisions, business operations structuring, and corporate compliance matters. His experience enables him to efficiently manage M&A projects and corporate transactions while minimizing legal and business risks and ensuring compliance with Ukrainian law.

A significant part of Yevgen’s practice involves advising non-profit organizations, foundations, and foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Ukraine. He provides legal support on NGO establishment and registration, management, regulatory matters, and interaction with state authorities. Yevgen also advises international humanitarian and charitable organizations active in Ukraine.

Another area of his practice includes advising private clients, including family business owners and investors, on asset structuring, business management, transfer of corporate rights, and implementation of corporate strategies.
