Alina Borovets advises Ukrainian and international clients on a broad range of antitrust and competition law matters, including public and state procurement, protection against unfair competition, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, as well as obtaining merger clearance and approvals for concerted practices. She represents clients before the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, develops defence strategies, and assists in mitigating regulatory risks.
An important focus of her practice is the resolution of commercial, administrative, and civil disputes related to competition law matters, participation in tenders, contract performance, public procurement, and corporate issues. Alina represents clients before courts of all instances, challenges decisions of regulatory authorities, assists during inspections, and provides comprehensive judicial protection of clients’ business interests.
Alina has experience advising companies operating in strategic sectors of the economy, including pharmaceuticals, defence, telecommunications, and industry. Her practice also covers general corporate matters, business structuring in Ukraine, drafting internal policies, advising on interaction with state authorities, and managing regulatory risks.
The combination of expertise in competition law and dispute resolution enables Alina to provide clients with integrated protection in complex regulatory and court proceedings, minimising sanctions risks, fines, and reputational damage.
