Attorney at Law Valeriia Gudiy has been promoted to Partner at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm. This is the first expansion of Ilyashev & Partners’ partnership since 2018.
Valeriia Gudiy joined the firm’s team in 2008. Since 2019, she has held the position of Counsel.
Valeriia specializes in Employment, Dispute Resolution with public authorities and Compliance. Advises clients on various issues in the field of employment and labor, personnel planning, collective bargaining, interaction with trade unions, top managers’ work, reorganizations and layoffs, personnel policies, migration legislation, employment mediation. Has a unique experience as a mediator in relations with trade union organizations in Ukraine.

Among Valeriia’s latest projects: representation and protection of the interests of owners of a significant shareholding in one of the Ukrainian banks in a dispute with the National Bank of Ukraine; representation and protection of the interests of a producer of alternative energy sources seeking the compensation of damage caused by the regulatory legal act of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities, the illegality of which was proved by her through legal proceedings in another case; representation and protection of the interests of leading international companies in labor disputes with employees; legal support of procedures for resolving employment disputes in an amicable way.
