Vadym Kizlenko, the Counsel, Attorney at Law and Insolvency Receiver at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, has been appointed as a member of Disciplinary Commission of Insolvency Receivers of Ukraine. Mr. Kizlenko had been elected at the Congress of Insolvency Receivers of Ukraine on 20 November 2019 and approved by the Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine “On the Personal Composition of the Disciplinary Commission of Insolvency Receivers” No. 4078/7 dated 29 November 2019.
The Disciplinary Commission is aimed to consider issues and make decisions about disciplinary liability of insolvency practitioners. The commission consists of seven members: three appointed by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and four by the Congress of Insolvency Receivers of Ukraine. The term of office is two years.

The Congress of Insolvency Receivers of Ukraine was attended by 490 insolvency practitioners from around Ukraine. The Congress has established the first self-regulatory organization of insolvency receivers of Ukraine (SRO), approved the Charter, the Code of Ethics Of The Insolvency Receiver, and appointed Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Council as well as members of Audit, Qualification and Disciplinary Commissions.
Formation of the single self-regulatory organization is based on the new Code of Ukraine on Bankruptcy Proceedings, which came into force on 21 October 2019. The SRO includes all insolvency practitioners listed in the Unified Register of Insolvency Receivers of Ukraine.
Vadym Kizlenko has been working at Kyiv office of Ilyashev & Partners since 2010. His expertise includes Insolvency and protection of clients’ interests in the courts. He has extensive experience in handling insolvency and bankruptcy cases at the various stages, as well as representation in the various complex and resonant cases.
