Roman Marchenko, Senior Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, moderated a session on Interaction with External Legal Counsels at the ІХ Annual Forum of Legal Counsels held on 6 October 2021 in Kyiv. The event was organized by the Yurydychna Praktyka Publishing House.
The participants discussed the demand for legal services, giving examples from their practices. The heads of legal departments spoke about criteria they use to select an external legal counsel and the services they purchase. The partners of law firms shared their principles of cooperation with the clients, and discussed the role of the conflict of interest.
At the close of the Forum, Roman Marchenko and Olena Omelchenko, Partner and Head of International Trade Practice at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, awarded the winners of 50 Leading Legal Departments of Ukraine.
