Irina Kirichenko spoke at Intellectual Property Forum (IPF) 2014

Intellectual Property Forum IPF 2014, organized by Yurydychna Praktyka Publishing House, was held in the Premier Palace Hotel with the support of the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine. Irina Kirichenko, lawyer at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, patent attorney of Ukraine, gave a presentation on “The Role of forensic enquiry in resolving disputes on protection of intellectual property rights in the field of pharmacy“.

Irina Kirichenko focused on some aspects of forensic enquiry in resolving disputes on protection of intellectual property rights in the field of pharmacy. She emphasized that issues of forensic enquiry require an integrated approach and specialized knowledge. It is the forensic expert on whom  health of a patient and the reputation of a particular medicine depend. The features inherent in the objects of intellectual property right in medicine and pharmacology, determine both the specifics of the examinations and the procedure for resolving disputes regarding such objects.

The Forum was attended by over 200 lawyers specializing in protection of intellectual property rights protection, legal advisors, patent attorneys, forensic experts, judges, and government officials.
