Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm became the General Partner of the international conference on international arbitration Kyiv Arbitration Days: Think Big!, held online on 10 September 2021. The event was organized by Ukrainian Bar Association.
Ilyashev & Partners won its first international arbitration back in 1999, when represented the interests of the international pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly in a dispute under the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

In 2020, Ilyashev & Partners became the first local law firm engaged by Ukraine to defend its interests in the interstate dispute. Ilyashev & Partners represented the Ukrainian side in the first arbitration dispute under the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement related to the Ukraine’s moratorium on export of unprocessed timber. This interstate arbitration with the EU was the second arbitration case in the EU history.
