Ilyashev & Partners won the largest number of awards among the Premier League finalists of the All-Ukraine ranking of the legal market LIGA ZAKON AWARDS 2020, the results of which were announced on 26 November 2020 in Kyiv.
Ilyashev & Partners was awarded as the top Premier League law firm of the year in the following practice areas: Antitrust, Insolvency and Financial Restructuring, Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation.
Partners of Ilyashev & Partners were recognized as the Premier League best lawyers in three areas:
- Antitrust Law – Oleksandr Fefelov;
- Insolvency and Financial Restructuring – Roman Marchenko;
- Commercial Litigation – Mikhail Ilyashev.
The firm also won a special nomination “A Legal Shark Opponent”, the winners of which were determined by anonymous votes cast by the professional market participants. During the voting procedure each ranking participant voted for the most skilled opponent to work against in the projects.
The results of LIGA ZAKON AWARDS 2020 are based on the scores of the jury – scholars, representatives of business communities and state officials – encrypted questionnaires of participants without nominees’ names and titles, as well as the results of DATA-SMART-analysis – scoring algorithm reflecting the financial results, assessment of the employees’ performance and coverage of the company’s activities in the media.
