Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm presented a special award at the Ukraine’s largest Competition of innovation projects, which took place within the framework of the Х International Festival of Innovation Projects Sikorsky Challenge 2021 held on August 12-14, 2021 in Kyiv.
The winner of the Ilyashev & Partners award became a team of the project MICRO – a constellation of satellites for remote sensing of the Earth with high spatial fragmentation, which took first place in the Industrial High-Tech and Space section.
As an award, the winner of the Competition got 12 months of legal services by Ilyashev & Partners.
The Х International Festival of Innovation Projects Sikorsky Challenge 2021 took place at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. 120 projects were in the final of the Competition in 6 sections: defence and security; industrial high-tech and space; green energy, hydrogen economy, ecology; biomedical engineering and human health; agricultural engineering; information technology and digital state. The projects were judged by 30 scientists of the Expert Commission and 50 members of international jury.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, State Concern Ukroboronprom, the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, innovation clusters of cities/regions and participating universities of Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine (SCU) Innovation Ecosystem, SCU’s international representative offices, Ukrainian and international investment funds were among the organizers and participants of the Festival.
