Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm has been ranked third in 50 Leading Law Firms of Ukraine 2021, a Ukrainian nationwide law firm ranking. According to the results of the annual research program published by Yurydychna Praktyka Publishing House on 7 December 2021, Kharkiv office of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm is one of the five leading regional law firms in Kharkiv.
Ilyashev & Partners have been recognized as a leading law firm in litigation. In 2021 the firm was involved in 11 out of the 32 largest and most publicized court and arbitration disputes of the year. Having been highly praised by its colleagues, the firm has secured a leading position in the Ukrainian legal market by number of lawyers, revenue and financial efficiency.
Mikhail Ilyashev, Managing Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, noted that in 2021 the volume of work in the legal market returned to the “pre-COVID” level.
“M&A practice has revived; the land market has opened, which will lead to a significant increase in work in this area in the near future; the load of dispute resolution and criminal practices, as well as real estate practices in the past year has increased even compared to 2019″, – said Mikhail Ilyashev.
The firm’s projects also have been listed among the largest transactions and the largest tax public disputes. Roman Marchenko, Senior Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, noted that insolvency practice has shown significant dynamics in 2021.
“Insolvency projects that have appeared this year are undoubtedly one of the most complex and expensive in the history of Ukraine. A characteristic feature of the year was the record amounts of accounts payable in respect of which cases were opened, and a significant number of foreign creditors who initiated insolvency proceedings”, – explained Roman Marchenko.
The Ukrainian national survey 50 Leading Law Firms of Ukraine has been carried out by Yurydychna Praktyka Publishing House since 1998. The market leading law firms are ranked by several criteria: number of lawyers, revenues, complexity of transactions and court disputes handled by a law firm, financial performance. All figures are aggregated using weighted coefficients. Coefficients are correlated to integrate in the final table the financial results of the law firm, the scale of its practices and professional reputation.
