Irina Kirichenko Was a Moderator at the II International Forum on Intellectual Property

Irina Kirichenko, lawyer at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, patent attorney of Ukraine (reg. No. 371), acted as a moderator at the session of the II International Forum on Intellectual Property – IPF 2015, dedicated to the intellectual property case law. The forum was held on June 18, 2015 in Kyiv.

During the session, the representatives of regulatory and judicial bodies, the Supreme Council of Justice and lawyers discussed the latest trends in judicial practice with regards to protection of intellectual property. The forum also raised the questions of reforming the sphere of intellectual property, the prospects of the practice in the context of Ukraine’s cooperation with the EU, the topical issues of patent law and copyright, as well as intellectual property rights on the Internet.

Irina Kirichenko has 15 years of experience in the protection of intellectual property rights in court. Irina’s latest projects include: representation of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world Grindeks (Latvia), JSC “Nizhpharm”, Takeda (Japan), Megainfarm GmbH (Austria), Feron (Moscow) in litigations on protection of their patent rights and rights to trademarks – names of medicines Mildronat, Cardiomagnyl, Chondroxide, and Viferon.

Irina is recommended by the international directories The Legal 500 – EMEA 2015 and Chambers Europe 2015 as one of the leading Ukrainian lawyers in intellectual property.

About the event

IPF 2015 was visited by more than 200 lawyers specializing in intellectual property rights protection, legal advisers, patent attorneys, forensic experts, judges, government officials. The event was organized by the Yurydychna Praktyka Publishing House.
