On September 13, 2018 Olena Omelchenko, the Head of International Trade Practice at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, together with Oleksiy Gorbatyuk, the lawyer of International Trade Practice, held a seminar for Kharkiv exporters called “Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Convention: Applying the Advantages of Diagonal Cumulation Principle under Convention. Changes in the Goods’ Export Procedure”. The seminar was organized within the framework of the ABC of the Exporter – 2018 Project launched by the Department for Enhancing the Region Competitiveness of the State Regional Administration and Kharkiv National University of Economics named after Semen Kuznets.
In their reports Olena Omelchenko and Oleksiy Gorbatyuk defined the benefits for Ukrainian exporting enterprises obtained after Ukraine’s accession to the Regional Convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Preferential Rules of Origin on February 1, 2018.
The seminar was attended by successful exporters from Kharkiv Region, heads of units of the Audit Department of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kharkiv Region, heads of Directorate for Customs Payments and Customs and Tariff Regulation of Kharkiv Customs of the State Fiscal Service, and Kharkiv Directorate of Large Taxpayers’ Office of the State Fiscal Service.
