Marina Riashchenko, Attorney, Counsel at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, was included in the List of Arbitrators of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
Her entering the VIAC’s List of Arbitrators is a testament to Marina Riashchenko’s high level of expertise and professional recognition in international dispute resolution. As a VIAC arbitrator, she may be appointed to resolve international commercial disputes under the VIAC Rules of Arbitration and Mediation.
Marina Riashchenko majors in international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as in trans-border dispute settlement. Marina has over 12 years of experience in arbitration and litigation proceedings with sovereign parties involved, including governments and state-owned enterprises.
Marina represented clients in over 50 international arbitrations under all major arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, SCC, VIAC, GAFTA, FOSFA, ICAC at the Ukrainian CCІ, etc., as well as the cross-border disputes in more than 20 jurisdictions. Marina handles cases on the recovery of business damages caused by Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, dispute settlement regarding international transfer of military and dual-use items, as well as proceedings related to recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards and resolutions of foreign courts in Ukraine.
