In December 2017 Mariia Koval, the Attorney at Law at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, has been elected as an international arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for domain name disputes.
Mariia joined the top 500 experts from 65 countries participating in consideration of domain name disputes as the WIPO Center arbitrators, and has become the Center’s second Ukrainian arbitrator.
When considering applications for the election of new arbitrators, WIPO takes into account the legal qualifications of candidates, professional experience in the field of intellectual property law and professional experience in dispute resolution.
