Maria Koval, Attorney at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, has been elected to the Copyright Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the period of 2018-2019.
The Committee is engaged into the elaboration and advocacy of INTA policy regarding the impact of copyright law on the rights of trademark holders.
The Committee monitors and analyses copyright cases, legislation and regulations in various jurisdictions; proposes recommendations to INTA Board of Directors on copyright regulation; writes reports on copyright laws by interacting with different copyright organizations.
INTA is a global association supporting trademarks and related intellectual property. INTA’s members are more than 7000 organizations from 190 courtiers. INTA members represent 30,000 trademark professionals including staffs of major corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, law firms and nonprofit organizations.
