Kateryna Solodovnyk, Lawyer at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, has been elected as Ambassador of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Ukraine for the next two years.
Kateryna Solodovnyk’s election as VIAC Ambassador in Ukraine reflects her high level of professional expertise, well-recognized standing, and active involvement in the development of international arbitration. VIAC CANs (Community Ambassador Network) currently comprises 43 ambassadors across 33 countries.
Kateryna specializes in handling international arbitration proceedings involving leading Ukrainian companies, state-owned enterprises, and global corporations. She has extensive practical experience in arbitration proceedings, conducted in accordance with the VIAC arbitration rules, all of which were successfully resolved in favor of the firm’s clients.
As VIAC Ambassador in Ukraine, Kateryna Solodovnyk will contribute to raising awareness within the Ukrainian legal and business communities of the opportunities offered by the Vienna International Arbitral Centre, promoting arbitration as an effective mechanism for resolving international commercial disputes, and fostering cooperation between legal and business communities in Ukraine and Europe.
