Irina Kirichenko opened the session “Trademarks, geographical indications and commercial names” with a discussion of TM protection and fight against counterfeit goods in e-commerce.
During the session, specialists and experts of the state intellectual property legal protection system of Ukraine, lawyers and legal advisers discussed aspects of TM protection and fight against counterfeit goods in e-commerce. The Forum also focused on topical issues in accordance with its topic: world and Ukrainian tendencies of IP rights development of; judicial practice of consideration of cases on protection of intellectual property of the Supreme Court of Ukraine; questions of patent law and copyright, and intellectual property rights on the Internet.
Irina Kirichenko has 15 years of experience in the protection of intellectual property rights in court. The latest projects of Irina include: representation of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies JSC “Grindeks” (Latvia), JSC “Nizhpharm”, Takeda (Japan), Megainfarm GmbH (Austria), Feron (Moscow) in litigations on protection of their patent rights and rights to trademarks – names of medicinal products Mildronat, Cardiomagnyl, Chondroxide, Viferon.
