On March 22, 2018 the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC), HeadHunter Ukraine and Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm held in Kyiv a public educational meetup on “Employees’ Involvement in the Compliance Culture” in Kyiv.
Tetiana Petruk, HR-director of Ukrtelecom, spoke about practical mechanisms of developing the integrity & compliance culture in the company. Leonid Gilevich, lawyer at Ilyashev & Partners, delivered a lecture on “How to Oblige Employees to Adhere to the Compliance Policies”, clarifying the conditions for the implementation of compliance policies, the main compliance obligations of staff members that are often encountered at work, and responsibility for violation of the corporate compliance requirements. Larysa Onypko, Head of the HR-Brand Ukraine Award, initiated the discussion by the meeting participants of the impact of integrity culture on the employer’s brand
Furthermore, during the seminar its participants analyzed a number of situations related to the violation of the compliance rules, proposed and discussed possible options for their solution.
The event was attended by HR-directors, legal advisers and compliance officers from leading Ukrainian and international companies.
