Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm has successfully represented the interests of Poltava Petroleum Company in Kharkiv Administrative Court of Appeal regarding the recovery from Poltava Petroleum Company of rent payment tax debt for the total amount of UAH 154 mln.
In the course of the court proceedings the lawyers of Ilyashev & Partners were successful in proving the noncollectability of the tax debt which became due on the basis of tax assessment notices issued further to the results of the unwarranted official tax audit.
By its Ruling as of February 05, 2018 Kharkiv Administrative Court of Appeal dismissed the appellate claim lodged by Poltava Joint State Tax Inspectorate, thus rendering the claims advanced by the tax authority against Poltava Petroleum Company as unlawful.
The team of Ilyashev & Partners, who worked on the project, was led by Galyna Melnyk, the Head of the Tax Law Practice, and Andriy Lytvyn, the Head of Kharkiv Office of Ilyashev & Partners.
