Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm acted as a legal advisor of the international group of companies IMMER Group – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of flexible packaging materials –in connection with over EUR 30 million loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The IFC’s financial package includes EUR 15 million of funds granted by other creditors, and is aimed at the development of the company IMMER Ukrplastic, which is Ukraine’s largest manufacturer of flexible packaging materials for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other industries. For more than 20 years, the company has been providing a full production cycle for flexible polymer packaging manufacturing, from granules and paints to finished rolled materials and bags.
The financing helps to support export-led economic growth and job creation.
At the moment the IMMER Ukrplastic in Ukraine employs about 1.4 thousand people. In Kyiv the IMMER Ukrplastic occupies an area of 11.3 hectares with 34 buildings on it having a total area of 74 thousand square meters. The Group has 15 warehouses in Kyiv, and 11 warehouses in Russia, Europe and Ukraine. The IMMER Group also includes digital print production company IMMER Digital and IMMER Design Studio.
