Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm has provided legal support to Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH, the European division of the world’s fifth-largest automobile manufacturer, in connection with the implementation of a new distribution model in Ukraine.
Ilyashev & Partners’ Antitrust and Competition Practice team conducted a comprehensive review of a complex distribution documentation package, assessing the compliance of the proposed contractual arrangements with the requirements of Ukrainian competition (antitrust) legislation.
The scope of work included:
- reviewing key contractual provisions for compliance with Ukrainian antitrust laws;
- identifying potential competition risks and providing recommendations for their mitigation;
- assessing practical aspects of implementing the distribution model in the Ukrainian market, taking into account local regulatory requirements;
- providing comprehensive legal support to ensure the safe implementation of the client’s business model.
Ilyashev & Partners’ team provided Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH with a thorough legal assessment and practical recommendations on adapting the documentation, enabling the minimization of legal risks associated with operating in the Ukrainian market.
