On 19 November 2020, a second live stream of the conference “Trade Wars: Art of Protection” – organized by Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm and Ukrainian Business & Trade Association – took place with the participation of the Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka and the Director of the Brussels office of Ukrainian Business & Trade Association Nazar Bobytskyi.
This was the second of three sessions scheduled for the 2020 conference. The conference was moderated by Olena Omelchenko, the Partner and Head of International Trade Practice at Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.
The participants have discussed how can businesses secure the revision of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, what their expectations might be and how can they participate in the discussion on how the European ‘green course’ will affect the EU-Ukraine trade.
