Mikhail Ilyashev, Managing Partner, attorney at law of Ilyashev & Partners, participated in the roundtable: “Enactment of the new Customs Code of Ukraine”, which was held on June 14, 2012 in the conference hall of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
The event was also attended by Igor Kaletnik, Chairman of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Vitaliy Khomutynnik, Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Finance, Banking, Tax and Customs Policy, Tomas Fiala, President of the European Business Association, Jorge Zukoski, President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Anatoliy Kinakh, President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and others.
The roundtable participants discussed the first steps in implementing the new Customs Code, the need to assess changes in the work of customs authorities and subjects of foreign economic activity under the new customs legislation.
