Maksym Kopeychykov, Attorney at Law, Partner of Ilyashev & Partners, spoke at the practical seminar “New rules of executing transactions with real estate and registration in BTI “, which was held on September 24, 2011 in the press center of IA LIGABusinessInform.

From December 1-15 the Bureau of Technical Inventory will not accept documents for property registration. It is conditioned by enactment from January 1 of the Resolution on the New Real Estate Registration Rules. This information was discussed by the experts, who participated in the practical seminar.

“From December 1 the regional BTI, and from 15 – the Kyiv BTI will refuse registration of rights to real estate. Collapse and suspension of market operation are expected. We advise our clients to postpone registration of transactions and rights to real estate to the beginning of March”, stated Maksym Kopeychykov, Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.

Dmitriy Pavlenko, expert of the All-Ukrainian BTI Association, in turn, suggested that the state would put off the expected innovations.

The real estate brokers, who attended the event, noted that the secondary housing market had actually terminated its activity. The standstill will continue at least until the end of February – March.
