By his Decree* the President of Ukraine awarded an honorary title “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine” to Senior Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm – Roman Marchenko.
Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm provided legal support in many high-profile cases. Among the latest projects are: dispute with the participation of Feodosia Shipbuilding Company “Morye” in the European Court of Human Rights regarding the rights of the company which were violated by the unlawful nationalization of its assets at the territory of Crimea, as well as protection of interests of SE Antonov in the court dispute with Aviakor Aviation Plant in the Russian Federation.
The honorary title was awarded to Roman Marchenko for “his noticeable personal contribution to the state-building process, social and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and educational development of Ukraine, significant professional accomplishments and high level of proficiency”, as it was mentioned in the Decree.
It needs to be reminded that in 2016 Roman Marchenko was distinguished as the best lawyer in the arbitration sphere by the national Legal Award.
Note: “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine” is an honorary title of Ukraine which is awarded by the President of Ukraine according to the Law of Ukraine “On the National Awards of Ukraine”. Pursuant to the Regulation on the honorary titles of Ukraine as of June 29, 2001 the mentioned title is awarded to the lawyers working in the state central and local authorities, prosecution authorities, justice authorities, state security and law-enforcement bodies, associations of the bar, as well as in the enterprises, companies and organizations, for considerable contribution to the development of a constitutional state.
