Mikhail llyashev, the Managing Partner of llyashev & Partners Law Firm, moderated the Legal Representation Session at the VI Annual Forum of Legal Counsels held on 24 October 2018 in Kyiv.
The session participants discussed the approaches of courts to compensation of legal aid costs, the practice of banking institutions in extrajudicial methods for enforcement of security, and the importance of the right choice of a representative in the strategy for legal entity defense in court. The new philosophy of bankruptcy procedures and the creditors-friendly nature of the new Code of Bankruptcy Procedure became the most discussed topics within the session.
VI Annual Forum of Legal Counsels is a specialized event organized for the heads of legal departments of companies, and the communications platform for experience exchange by legal counsels, representatives of leading law firms, state authorities and judges of higher specialized courts. Traditionally, the forum ended with the ceremony of awarding the winners of 50 Leading Legal Departments of Ukraine Rating based on the results of an independent survey conducted by the Yurydychna Praktyka outlet.
