Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm defends the interests of Salve Finance Ukraine clients having concluded the insurance agreements with PAO “USK “Garant-Life”. On February 22, 2017, an action is brought to Kyiv District Administrative Court on the admission of illegal omission of the National Commission for the State Regulation of Financial Services Markets, which led to the bankruptcy of Garant-Life Insurance Company.
It is worth to mention that Garant-Life was a life insurance company, whose license was banned in November, 2016. Due to the fraudulent actions of Garant-Life managers and owners about 9 000 clients, diligently paying their premiums for years, were deceived and instantly lost their savings. Unsecured insurance liabilities of Garant-Life amount approximately to UAH 200 million.
Salve Finance Ukraine and Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm seek for the prosecution of those guilty in Garant-Life bankruptcy within the framework of criminal proceeding initiated by the Prosecutor’s Office of Kiev on November 11, 2016. The investigation thereon was assigned to the National Police.
